Share the Glory
I wouldn’t say that my house was destroyed but it did flood. In some parts of the house it got 1 ft. of water and other parts got 15 in. I would consider my family lucky compared to other people I know. My room was part of the house that got 1 ft. I lost all my bedroom furniture, my movies, and books. We are living with my grandma and so is my cousin. I’d say we’re crowded but that’s all we can do. I can’t wait ‘til Steubie because after I experience that again it will open me up I think and God will let me know that everything is okay and that he loves me. The only bad thing is that Christmas is coming up soon and I’m not sure if I will have enough money to get my family and friends gifts. I really want to because I’d rather give than receive but I don’t know if I can do that this year. I also would like to be back in my house for Christmas but I don’t know if it’ll be ready. So I can’t wait for Steubie so I can just et away from all this mess and sadness and just be with God!
